About The Position

Gordon Tavern is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our team inside The Gordon Hotel in the heart of downtown Eugene. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven restaurant leader to step into a well-established operation with a seasoned team of professionals. We are looking for someone who can build on an already strong foundation by inspiring the team, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including daily operations, financial performance, team development, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards our guests have come to expect. One of the most important aspects of this role is cultivating and maintaining a strong working relationship with The Gordon Hotel. Success in this position requires open communication, collaboration, and partnership with hotel leadership to ensure both businesses continue delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience, with General Manager experience preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and labor control.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing people.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality every day.
  • Professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within or alongside a hotel environment is a plus.

Responsibilities
