About The Position
This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and managing orders. Responsibilities include receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for transactions, order processing via computer or touch screen, and precise hand-eye coordination. The work environment involves varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Hand tasks require continuous use, including forceful pinching and grasping. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer locations, distributing marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Delivery personnel must possess navigational skills, be able to carry products during deliveries, drive within a designated area, and may need to navigate stairs and various terrains.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
