About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for creating a positive culture, building and developing the team, ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction, and controlling costs. This is a full-time position requiring 50 hours per week, with potential for more during peak seasons.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in management positions (preferably restaurant experience, including full service or fast food)
- Self-motivated with a friendly, out-going attitude
- Effectively able to train and lead all team members
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Assistant Managers to build a culture of excellence where the team is happy to be there and knows what they are doing.
- Continuously improve the skills, knowledge, and morale of all team members through hands-on involvement with hiring, scheduling, facilitating training, and evaluating performance.
- Constantly seek to improve personal and team skills.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by emphasizing details in production, making food to spec, ensuring proper food safety service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
- Set pars for food, beverage, paper, and eliminate waste/pilferage.
