About The Position

Superior Van & Mobility is seeking an experienced, people-focused General Manager to lead one of their locations. This role involves overseeing the overall operational and financial performance of the location, leading sales, service, administrative, and support teams. The company focuses on providing mobility solutions that help people regain independence and experience greater freedom. The General Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, managing store performance and profitability, establishing sales and service goals, and developing employees. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 3–5 years of management experience or senior-level industry experience
  • At least 1–2 years of CRM experience
  • At least 2 years of experience managing sales, service, and support employees
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and people
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • A collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the location, including sales, service, parts, and administration
  • Manage store performance and profitability, including reviewing monthly P&L results and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Establish and work toward sales and service goals for vehicles and adaptive mobility equipment
  • Lead daily store meetings to keep departments informed, organized, and working toward common goals
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop employees
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish short- and long-term development goals
  • Ensure employees understand and follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and required certifications
  • Manage vehicle, product, and parts inventory
  • Oversee CRM activity and lead management while coaching the sales team toward stronger performance and exceptional customer service
  • Partner with Regional and Corporate leadership on staffing, operations, and company initiatives
  • Maintain a professional, safe, clean, and welcoming location for employees and customers
  • Responsibility for trade-in appraisals, corporate reporting, CRM oversight, inventory management, and assisting with Mobility Consultant duties when needed.
