About The Position

The DH Pace Company is seeking a General Manager for the Overhead Door Company of Little Rock™. This is a leadership role where you will leverage your management experience to assess operations, implement procedural changes, foster team building, increase sales and profitability, and ensure high customer service. You will oversee existing customer projects and drive revenue growth in new construction and service work across commercial, residential, and entry door systems. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing staff, customer service, relationship building, and driving operational changes that impact the bottom line.

Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience managing personnel, P&L, budgets, projects, materials ordering, sales, and customer service in a leadership position.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based programs and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, procedures, financial results, and survey feedback.
  • Ability to isolate key information and discern the impact of process or procedural changes.
  • Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
  • Willingness and availability to train in Kansas City up to three (3) times for one week per trip during the first 90-days of employment.
  • Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required in advance of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the service provider industry such as HVAC or another construction/building materials business with products sold to end users, installed and/or serviced at customer sites.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions with full P&L responsibility.
  • Make recommendations for operational and sales procedural/process improvement changes to increase customer satisfaction and achieve profit margins.
  • Leverage operations/process improvement expertise to support personnel, build trust, and serve as a resource for operational assistance and career mentoring.
  • Assist with employee/job scheduling and technical/mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure staff adhere to company best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain professional communication with personnel and customers, and resolve personnel matters and escalated customer concerns.
  • Oversee existing customer projects and ensure revenue increase for New Construction and Service work for commercial, residential, and entry door systems.
