As General Manager, you will be responsible for effectively leading and managing all aspects of the resort operation and for delivering results that contribute to the vision and overall success of Grand Pacific Resort Management.

  • Advanced knowledge of the key principles and practices within all GPRM disciplines, including practical knowledge for management of Associates and dealing with complex problems.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related major preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven successful experience in Hospitality industry required.
  • Resort General Manager responsibility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee resort operations, including inventory management, vendor compliance, and property appearance.
  • Ensure adherence to GPR Brand Standards & Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage customer service standards and monitor Owner/Guest satisfaction scores.
  • Develop and prepare annual operating and reserves budgets, and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure resort safety for Owners/Guests and Associates.
  • Develop timely and accurate Board Packets and coordinate Board Meetings.
  • Participate in procuring new resorts through onsite lead generation and client interaction.
  • Volunteer for and execute special projects.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of resort operations.
  • Deliver consistent quality resort management with a focus on maximizing financial performance and service culture.
  • Mentor resort Associates.
  • Act as a liaison between Associates, Board of Directors, Owners/Guests, and the Management Company.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment of Associate talent.
  • Manage Associate performance, including daily development and annual reviews.
  • Oversee time card record keeping and manage Associate files.
  • Promote the BE EPIC Moments program.
  • Mentor team members for succession planning.
  • Participate in Grand Pacific University (GPU) and assign courses.
  • Create action plans for Associate improvement.
  • Cultivate an environment that embraces BE EPIC values and GPRM's Service Culture.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and monthly team Rallies.
  • Oversee weekly Inventory Management, including preparation and execution of relocations or rental of any vacant units.
  • Manage compliance of management contracts and vendors.
  • Oversight of resort appearance and Preventative Maintenance (Synergy Program) to the highest standards possible.
  • Manage and oversee Construction and FF&E projects/renovations.
  • Knowledge of resort's CC&R's and Rules & Regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to all GPR Brand Standards & Standard Operating Procedures (Best Practices).
  • Host weekly Coffee Klatch activity.
  • Follow-up on Quarterly Resort Audit Action Items.
  • Conduct weekly property walks and monthly property audits.
  • Manage Annual Owner Survey action items.
  • Achieve customer service standards in all departmental categories.
  • Maintain NPS Score at a 75% threshold or higher.
  • Monitor and encourage TripAdvisor reviews.
  • Support GPRM's Core Purpose "Enriching Lives by Creating Experiences Worth Sharing".
  • Review Exchange Company survey data and internal survey data.
  • Respond to comments and/or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Salesforce daily to monitor Owner/Guest satisfaction scores and provide a plan to improve results.
  • Develop and prepare annual Operating and Reserves budgets.
  • Present annual budget to Board of Directors for approval.
  • Monitor HOA delinquency.
  • Oversee resort financial performance: Preparation of Income Statement (P&L) Variance Reports.
  • Utilize Cost Per Occupied Room (CPOR) report to analyze department expenses.
  • Ensure a minimum Resort Service Fee (RSF) collection rate of 90%.
  • Maintain City Ledger compliance.
  • Manage/Update Schedule of Values (SOV).
  • Responsible for processing weekly Accounts Payable.
  • Ongoing Reserve Study management.
  • Involvement in resort Owner/Guest and Associate Safety.
  • Participation in Worker's Comp Claims and Incident Reporting.
  • Maintain an accident-free work place.
  • Exhibit the highest level of ethics and integrity.
  • Produce timely, accurate and mail-ready Board Packet development.
  • Coordinate successful Board Meetings.
  • Monitor Annual Board of Directors Survey results.
  • Maintain a strong, working knowledge of HOA relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts on behalf of the HOA.
  • Participate in procuring new resorts: Onsite Lead Generation.
  • Client interaction (resort tours/entertainment/Management Services Presentation).
  • Assistance with Resort transitions by self and team members.
