About The Position

KidStrong is looking for a General Manager to lead their Plymouth, MA location. This role involves creating a positive environment for coaches, kids, and families, driving sales, ensuring member satisfaction, and making each day at KidStrong extraordinary. The General Manager will be responsible for center operations, sales, leadership, and coaching.

Requirements

  • Coaching background with experience with children aged 15 months to 11 years.
  • Strong people skills for interacting with parents and guardians.
  • Tech-savvy with practical experience in Google, Microsoft, and social media platforms.
  • CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to set and uphold high standards.
  • Natural leadership skills, leading from the front.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving company goals.
  • Ability to ensure effective transfer of knowledge.
  • Professional demeanor, reacting well under pressure and treating others with respect.
  • High energy and clarity in engagement.
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships.
  • Organizational skills for planning work activities and setting realistic goals.
  • Clear and informative speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage center operations, including KPIs and financials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members and maintain a clean and efficient center.
  • Delegate tasks to the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive membership sales by setting goals, contacting leads, and attending local events.
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve their best.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new coaches.
  • Utilize KidStrong's training tools for personal and team development.
  • Communicate effectively with the team via Slack and Email.
  • Deliver KidStrong's curriculum and coach 3-5 classes per week.
  • Monitor attendance and achievements using the KS Coaches App.
  • Achieve Coach Certification through KidStrong HQ Training.
