About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. Responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks including forceful use of forearms and wrists for dough shaping. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and a hand truck. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel are also exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
