About The Position
This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, and performing cleaning duties. Training and orientation are provided on the job. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations, verbal and written communication, motor coordination, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, and exposure to fumes and dust. Team members must be able to stand for extended periods, walk short distances, and occasionally sit for paperwork. Lifting and carrying are required for deliveries and stocking, with items weighing up to 50 pounds. Pushing and pulling are involved with moving trays on dollies. Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary. Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting are performed for various tasks. Reaching continuously up, down, and forward is required. Hand tasks involve continuous use of hands, including forceful pinching for box assembly and grasping various tools and items. For delivery roles, essential skills include navigational abilities, driving, and carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas and beverages, driving within a designated area, walking between locations, and climbing multiple flights of stairs. Exposure to varying weather conditions is also part of the delivery role.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver product by car and then to door for customer.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
