This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate basic math skills, making correct monetary change, computer/touch screen order entry, and good motor coordination. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 pounds) and trays of dough (12 pounds each), pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and frequent use of one or both hands, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for dough shaping, and pinching for box assembly. Tools and equipment include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses. Delivery personnel must navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
