About The Position
The General Manager position is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, and taking inventory. This role requires the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, and accurately perform basic math calculations. Essential functions include eye-hand coordination for rapid and accurate movements, order entry via computer keyboard or touch screen, and the ability to work under stress while meeting quality control standards. The work environment involves varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks. For delivery roles, additional requirements include a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry product while walking, climbing stairs, and driving in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
