About The Position

The General Manager will manage the Association's day-to-day operations and administrative functions. This role serves as the primary management contact for the Board and property owners, coordinating community maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and capital projects. The General Manager will also manage vendors, contractors, contracts, bids, and service performance, assist with annual budgeting, financial administration, assessments, and invoices, and support Board meetings, annual meetings, special meetings, elections, and voting. Additionally, the role involves maintaining Association records, governing documents, contracts, and correspondence, assisting with enforcement and compliance procedures, coordinating special projects, and providing regular updates to the Board. Proactive communication regarding operational issues, deadlines, projects, and community needs is essential.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors
  • Experience with budgets, invoices, contracts, or financial administration
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • 5+ years of community association management experience
  • Texas HOA/POA experience
  • Experience managing 500+ lots
  • Annual association budget and reserve funds
  • Experience with special assessments and capital projects
  • CAI certification or related professional training
