About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. This role requires strong communication and essential skills including accurate math, making change, computer/touch screen operation, and motor coordination. The work environment involves varying temperatures, potential exposure to dust and fumes, and working in cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Hand tasks require continuous use of hands, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough. Tools and equipment used include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role involves product delivery via car, requiring a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving, walking to customer locations, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel are exposed to varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
