About The Position

Reporting to the Group General Manager, the General Manager of SSI is responsible for managing the overall performance of a location to include, revenue, profitability, performance, expenditures and staffing through delegation of tasks and duties. They will lead, direct, manage and oversee each department ensuring efficiency, financial stability and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with market opportunities to drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
  • Lead the advancement of world-class manufacturing operations, continued market and channel development, and technology-driven, innovative product pipelines.
  • Define strategic direction and lead the execution of tactical plans to enhance customer partnerships and distribution networks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to increase market share, expand customer reach, and accelerate time-to-market for new technology offerings.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers and distribution partners.
  • Personally manage high-impact sales opportunities while fostering a deeply customer centric culture, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge technological solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Champion the development and integration of technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee new product development initiatives from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer requirements, and long-term business strategy.
  • Serve as a role model by setting clear objectives, embodying Amphenol’s entrepreneurial spirit, and cultivating a high-performing team.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent in engineering, R&D, and operations within a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven culture.
  • Continuously assess and optimize performance against fiscal targets for P&L, cash flow, and asset returns.
  • Ensure revenue growth, margin expansion, and financial discipline to exceed company goals.
  • Lead global operational sites in US, Czech Republic, China and Mexico to drive excellence in productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Align global manufacturing and technology capabilities to support innovation and scalable growth.
  • Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as required to support company success, technological leadership, and responsiveness in a dynamic market environment.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
  • Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, LLC. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
