About The Position

Meritage Hospitality Group, a leading QSR operator and Wendy's franchisee, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a Wendy's restaurant. This role involves driving sales, achieving performance goals, developing staff, and ensuring operational excellence. The General Manager will lead the restaurant management team, monitor employee compliance with quality and service standards, manage costs, make hiring/termination decisions, and pursue professional development within the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience, preferably within quick service restaurants
  • Able to perform all duties of restaurant staff
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the restaurant management team to meet sales and budget goals
  • Monitor tasks performed by employees to ensure compliance with Quality, Service, & Cleanliness programs
  • Ensure proper training and compliance
  • Manage food, labor, and paper costs as well as other controllable expenses
  • Make decisions regarding the hiring and termination of employees
  • Attend meetings requested by the District Manager or Area Director
  • Develop restaurant operation skills and grow within the organization
