This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces, with work surfaces generally between 36" and 48" high. Lifting of bulk product deliveries weighing up to 60 pounds is required, with cases stacked up to 72" high. Carrying large cans and occasionally pizza sauce or trays of dough is necessary. Pushing and pulling trays on dollies is part of the job. Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladders. Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting are required for stocking and cleaning. Reaching continuously up, down, and forward is necessary for various tasks, including operating oven controls and stocking shelves. Eye-hand coordination is essential, with continuous use of hands for tasks like shaping pizza dough, manipulating a pizza peel, and pinching to assemble boxes. Grasping various items is also required. Team members may utilize pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors, delivering marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses are essential, as is the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product while walking and climbing, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the delivery vehicle and customer locations. Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Work conditions for delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.
