About The Position

Meritage Hospitality Group, a top QSR operator and leader in the Wendy's system, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a Wendy's restaurant. This role involves leading a single restaurant, driving sales, achieving performance goals, developing people and teams, and executing operational standards. As a General Manager, you will lead the restaurant management team to meet sales and budget goals, monitor employee tasks for compliance with Quality, Service, & Cleanliness programs, ensure proper training, manage food, labor, and paper costs, make hiring and termination decisions, attend meetings, and develop restaurant operation skills for growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience, preferably within quick service restaurants
  • Able to perform all duties of restaurant staff
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the restaurant management team to meet sales and budget goals
  • Monitor tasks performed by employees to ensure compliance with Quality, Service, & Cleanliness programs
  • Ensure proper training and compliance
  • Manage food, labor, and paper costs as well as other controllable expenses
  • Make decisions regarding the hiring and termination of employees
  • Attend meetings requested by the District Manager or Area Director
  • Develop restaurant operation skills and grow within the organization
