About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 pounds) and pizza dough trays (12 pounds each), pushing trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and frequent/forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, using a pizza peel and rolling cutter, and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs. Driving is a key component, with multiple deliveries per shift expected. Walking involves travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions during delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
