About The Position
This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and assembling boxes. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and buildings while carrying products. Physical demands for delivery include carrying products, driving, walking to and from the vehicle, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel are exposed to varying weather conditions and require far and night vision for driving.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
