Brass Eye General Manager
About The Position
Brass Eye is an unpretentious rooftop bar that serves as a local gathering spot, offering guests the perfect "brass eye" experience inspired by "The Drinker’s Dictionary." The ideal candidate will be clever, energetic, dynamic, and friendly. This leadership role involves inspiring staff, fostering teamwork, and achieving restaurant goals. Daily responsibilities include managing front-of-house operations, selecting, developing, and coaching team members, and overseeing the operational budget. The General Manager will also manage inventory and ordering, drive revenues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant management highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations
- Excellent leadership and communication
- Prior experience working with payroll, budgets, revenue and forecasting
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold all team members accountable
- Achieve budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs, and profitability
- Benchmark against competitors
- Collaborate on activation and programming with marketing
- Develop and maintain control procedures
- Management of the daily front of the house operations of our restaurant
- Selection, development and coaching of team members
- Financial oversight of the operational budget
- Oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Driving revenues
- Ensuring guests are satisfied with their dining experience
