About The Position

LVK Logistics (formerly ShipHero Fulfillment) is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its fulfillment facilities in the U.S. and Canadian network. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall operational performance of the site, focusing on people, processes, and results within a high-velocity 3PL fulfillment environment. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of site operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, returns, and safety compliance. Performance will be measured against key metrics such as On-Time Processing, Inventory Accuracy, Error and Refund Reduction, and Labor Management. The role requires a continuous improvement mindset and involves contributing to network-wide best practices and operational scalability. The General Manager will also act as a site leader and a network contributor, sharing best practices and participating in cross-site initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and progressive warehouse leadership experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of warehouse leadership experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience, preferably in an E-commerce Fulfillment company.
  • Experience in multi-facility and/or multi-client environments.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS).
  • Operationally strong with sound business judgment obtained through supply chain experience at the managerial level.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Ability to lead change and motivate team members to adopt new methods and practices.
  • Enhanced commercial financial skills for analysis and budgeting.
  • Ability to lead a team that supports the company’s values and business direction.
  • Systems-savvy and proficient in building operational control tools using Microsoft Excel, data reporting platforms, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Comfortable working within technology-enabled fulfillment environments and leveraging data to drive decisions.
  • Uses analytical reasoning to quickly understand and identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Working knowledge of EHS and occupational health and safety regulations applicable to multi-jurisdictional warehouse operations, including OSHA (U.S.) and provincial OH&S standards (Canada).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically — developing team members, identifying operational risks, and contributing to planning processes beyond the immediate site level.
  • Track record of participating in or leading structured performance improvement initiatives with documented results across key fulfillment metrics.
  • Ability to create a high-performance team environment focused on process excellence and commercial results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full operational performance of the LVK Logistics facility, overseeing people, processes, and results.
  • Own all aspects of site operations, including receiving and put away, inventory management and control, same-day order fulfillment, returns management, and environmental health and safety compliance.
  • Ensure performance against network-wide pillars: On-Time Processing, Inventory Accuracy, Error and Refund Reduction, and Labor Management.
  • Lead with a continuous improvement mindset in a high-urgency, technology-enabled environment.
  • Operate as both a site leader and a network contributor, sharing best practices and participating in cross-site initiatives.
  • Manage within company policies, procedures, best practices, and employment standards, maintaining clear communication with leadership.
  • Establish performance goals to meet productivity, accuracy, quality, cost, and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure regular general meetings, team member events, and engagement programs are in place and effectively implemented.
  • Build positive employee relations and lead initiatives to create an environment where team members are involved and committed to business success through continuous improvement.
  • Ensure supervisors and staff are well-trained and motivated to support customer contracts and company direction.
  • Recognize team member performance through regular feedback using management reporting tools and observations.
  • Actively work on succession planning by selecting, developing, and training operations managers, supervisors, team leaders, and support team members.
  • Ensure onboarding and training programs are in place for team members to become effective in their roles.
  • Promote open communications through meetings to foster an informed and aligned workforce.
  • Oversee inventory procedures and systems accuracy to meet all inventory KPIs.
  • Ensure facility maintenance contracts are in place and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
  • Ensure team member compliance with quality assurance standards for a food-safe warehouse.
  • Collaborate with peers to compare best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional leadership, including IT, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, and Human Resources.
  • Resolve operational exceptions and maintain contingency plans for operational interruptions.
  • Ensure operations have the required resources and are organized to maximize performance and customer service within budget.
  • Provide reporting, analysis, and improvement recommendations on achieving key performance indicators.
  • Ensure operational budgets are controlled and variances are explained.
  • Review, approve, and export weekly labor hours for payroll processing.
  • Work with the management team to develop and implement business plans to improve financial and service performance year over year.
  • Ensure timely and effective customer and company KPI reporting.
  • Ensure managers, supervisors, and team members comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.
  • Lead and sustain the facility’s EHS/safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA, provincial standards, and network safety protocols; actively work to reduce incidents and insurance exposure.
  • Participate in periodic site audits and close out findings with documented corrective actions.
  • Engage in cross-site collaboration with peer GMs to align on best practices, compare performance, and strengthen network-wide operational consistency.
  • Partner with the National Director of Operations to develop direct reports and supervisors for advancement.
  • Contribute to the 18-month network operational roadmap by surfacing site-level constraints, capacity needs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
