About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give written instructions, and to verbally communicate with customers and co-workers. Essential functions include accurate basic math skills, making correct monetary change, and proficiency in verbal, writing, and telephone communication. Motor coordination for precise hand and finger movements, and the ability to enter orders via computer or touch screen are also necessary. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, including frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, manipulating tools, and pinching for box assembly. Team members must be able to grasp various items. Required tools and equipment include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills, including map reading and locating addresses, are essential. Delivery personnel must navigate various terrains and carry product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs. Driving is a key component, with multiple deliveries per shift possible. Walking is required between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing may involve navigating multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions during delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
