About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for setting the tone for the fun, family environment of the restaurant. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions, use good judgment, solve problems, produce required results, and focus on guest service. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, are essential for transferring thoughts and reports to written form. The General Manager must demonstrate the ability to lead, direct, train, and develop the team, and manage employee issues to a satisfactory resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant management (prefer QSR)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Food Safety Manager Certificate
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel to other restaurants using private transportation, valid driver’s license, good driving record and insurance
  • Consent to background screening, including criminal, driving record and drug screen
  • Strong computer PC skills, good keyboarding, and expertise using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Previous QSR management experience
  • Knowledge of legal compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of health department inspection standards
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, managing and developing team
