About The Position
Southwind, the highest-performing 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group, is seeking a General Manager for its flagship location in Kansas City. This role is for a strategic operator who thrives in logistics, fleet safety, and building a world-class culture. The General Manager will lead a $10M operation, driving profitability, ensuring fleet safety and risk management, developing a high-performing frontline crew, and optimizing operational efficiency for the fastest, cleanest, and most professional service in Kansas City.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record in Home Services, Logistics, or Fleet Operations.
- Experience in Fleet Safety and Risk Management.
- Strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire teams, drive results, and foster a culture of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for a $10M operation, driving profitability through strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Oversee Fleet Safety and Risk Management to ensure team safety and truck operational status.
- Mentor, train, and inspire a high-performing frontline crew to deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Fine-tune operations, including scheduling, logistics optimization, and labor planning, to ensure service excellence.
