About The Position

The Coeur d'Alene Resort is seeking a General Manager for Tito's Italian Restaurant and Grill. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including service, staffing, standards, and financial performance. The General Manager is expected to be present during peak times, set a positive tone for the team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. This includes managing guest recovery, building and retaining a strong team through effective hiring, training, and development, and maintaining financial discipline through budgeting, cost control, and P&L analysis. Upholding standards for sanitation, alcohol service, safety, and resort service guidelines is crucial, as is collaborating with other departments within the resort to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

2+ years leading a full-service restaurant, bar, or hotel outlet, including P&L ownership.
Demonstrated results in guest satisfaction scores and team retention.
Working knowledge of POS, scheduling, and inventory systems.
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Food handler certification.
Alcohol server certification.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the guest experience from greeting to goodbye, including service recovery.
Building and retaining a team through hiring, training, scheduling, and development.
Managing financial performance, including building and hitting budgets, controlling food and beverage costs, and managing labor against volume.
Conducting weekly forecasting, inventory management, and maintaining par levels.
Ensuring compliance with sanitation, alcohol service, safety, and resort service standards.
Partnering with culinary teams, banquets, front desk, and other F&B departments.
