About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and performance of a CSI branch office. This role oversees sales, operations, project execution, service, and administration while driving revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The General Manager is accountable for building and developing high-performing teams, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in the commercial low-voltage, fire alarm, security integration, or communications industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading sales, operations, service, or project teams with responsibility for business performance.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Audio Visual, DAS/ERCES, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic, and related low-voltage systems.
  • Proven business development experience with strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, job costing, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction, contracts, project execution, scheduling, and change order management.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall performance and daily operations of the branch, including Sales, Operations, Service, Project Management, and Administration.
  • Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and promoting CSI's full portfolio of low-voltage solutions.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and lead sales, technical, project management, and administrative teams.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, profitability, and resource planning.
  • Utilize knowledge of low-voltage systems, blueprints, specifications, contracts, submittals, labor planning, material management, and change orders to support successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Establish performance expectations, coach team members, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable industry regulations.
  • Champion workplace safety by promoting a culture where safety is the highest priority.
