The General Manager is responsible for leading the site as a standalone business unit, with full accountability for performance, people, and long-term success. This includes ownership of the site’s profit and loss, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring effective leadership across all operational and support functions. Reporting to the EVP Power (Divisional Lead), the General Manager leads site performance through robust Monthly Business Reviews, bi-annual Talent Reviews, and the development and delivery of a clear Strategic Growth Plan. The role includes presenting strategy, performance, and risks to Board-level stakeholders. As a key member of the Divisional Leadership Team, the General Manager works collaboratively across UK and US sites to identify opportunities, deliver multi-site customer solutions, and contribute to the broader direction of the business, while continuously improving site performance.
