About The Position
Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. The role involves managing a one-shift operation, starting early for baking and opening, ensuring audit readiness, executing orders, and providing an exceptional customer experience. GMs are expected to be hands-on, assisting in all positions during rushes, managing breaks, and driving positive customer survey results. The stores close at 2pm, with approximately 30-45 minutes needed for closing and prep. Administrative tasks like scheduling, ordering, and inventory can be managed before opening or after closing. A daily deposit to the bank is also part of the role. The company offers 5 weeks of training to prepare managers for these responsibilities.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
- Hands-on operational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire the team.
- Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

- Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.
