About The Position

Virginia BBQ & Pizza Co. is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant at our vibrant Massanutten Resort. This role is for someone passionate about hospitality, thriving on developing teams, and knowing how to provide both exceptional food and remarkable guest experiences.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience
• Proven leadership in a high-volume or quick-service environment
• Strong operational, financial, and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Resort, hospitality, or tourism experience
• Experience with BBQ, fast-casual, or casual dining concepts
• Virginia ABC Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
• ServSafe Manager Certification

Responsibilities

• Leading daily operations across dine-in, counter service, and takeout
• Driving guest satisfaction through quality, speed, and service excellence
• Hiring, training, coaching, and developing a team of 20+ associates
• Managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls
• Monitoring financial performance (revenue, labor, and food cost)
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Virginia ABC laws
• Resolving guest concerns and fostering a culture of hospitality
• Collaborating with resort leadership to enhance the overall guest experience
