About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, order processing via computer or touchscreen, and good hand-eye coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in cramped spaces. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, including shaping dough, using a pizza peel and cutter, and pinching to assemble boxes. Team members may use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and pizza boxes. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate various terrains and building types while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product during walking and climbing, driving, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
