About The Position

At Magnolia, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Magnolia Table restaurant. This role maintains revenue, promotes efficiency and cleanliness, ensures the highest quality food is served, and helps with future menu item planning. This position works from Magnolia Table in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Director of Hospitality and has supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Experience with warehouse management software, databases, and KPI tracking required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be available to work weekends, events, and holidays as business needs require

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
1-2+ years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
3+ years of managerial experience preferred
Forklift Trainer certification preferred upon hire

Responsibilities

Provide input and insight into strategic plans and financial direction and monthly budget tracking
Provide weekly tracking updates on financials to Food Leadership
Develop managers and staff for future growth opportunities, including training and developing restaurant leaders
Ensure a high level of guest care, in line with the Magnolia brand
Coordinate with front-of-house, back-of-house, and retail operations
Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Partner with the food operations team for new menu item rollout and training
Ensure seasonal deployment of R&D food and beverage training for Table leadership
Support Table during caterings, events, etc.
Advocate and partner for additional retail item newness
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Drive revenue to support Magnolia Table unit goals
Perform other duties as assigned
