About The Position

This position exists to oversee the local functioning of corporate operational systems, develop and expand the revenue performance and business potential of the hospice, be responsible for the patient and family services program at the hospice, and represent the company in the community.

Requirements

• Five (5) years previous managerial experience
• Previous healthcare sales management
• Working knowledge of budget development, financial profit/loss process, and human resources.
• Ability to relate to superiors, peers, and subordinates
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Local Functioning of Corporate Operational Systems: Implementing company systems, policies, and standards to ensure the hospice meets and exceeds regulatory requirements, coordinating with corporate staff and medical director for survey readiness, and maintaining knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Developing and Expanding Revenue Performance: Negotiating contractual agreements with community partners and vendors, developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare organizations, managing financial functions including profit and loss statements, accounts receivables, collections, and local accounts payable, developing and maintaining relationships with physicians, and supervising the admissions function.
• Responsible for the Patient and Family Services Program at the Hospice: Overall responsibility for clinical services function including staffing levels, patient experience, employee recruitment, retention, and engagement, management of the Volunteer Program, and ensuring compliance with the local work plan and CAHPS performance.
• Representing the Company in the Community: Serving as the official spokesperson, managing public relations, generating and responding to media requests, responding to social media comments, and handling and resolving complaints from patients, families, and the public.
