About The Position

Athena Hospitality Group is looking for a dynamic General Manager ready to elevate operations, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at their Best Western Executive Residency in Jackson, TN. The General Manager will own the operational heartbeat of the property, focusing on maximizing efficiency, optimizing the team, and ensuring seamless system operations. This role involves leading with clarity, building a culture of accountability, and creating an operation that guests and team members recommend. Key focuses include building and refining operational systems, leading and developing an engaged team, driving consistency across departments, identifying process improvements, ensuring compliance with Best Western standards and local regulations, and building guest loyalty through operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a General Manager or assistant GM at a full-service or extended-stay hotel property
• Detail-oriented
• Data-driven
• Energized by the challenge of optimizing operations
• Strategic thinking paired with hands-on operational management
• Ability to build high-performing teams and develop talent
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills—both internally with your team and externally with guests and vendors
• Ability to lead with integrity and accountability
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Hospitality background is essential
