About The Position

Rainmaker Hospitality is seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee operations, inspire teams, and drive success for the Spark by Hilton in Bardstown, KY. The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operation of the hotel. This role oversees financial performance, guest satisfaction, team engagement, property maintenance, sales growth, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of service excellence.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in hotel, hospitality, or property management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and expense management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop hotel associates.

Create and manage schedules to ensure operational efficiency and staffing needs are met.

Develop and manage annual budgets, financial plans, and operating expenses.

Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the successful execution of meetings, events, and conferences.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
