We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager who can keep the team in sync, the service sharp, and the vibe fun, fast, and unmistakably Lapper. Town and Country Resort is a 23‑acre California icon in bustling Mission Valley, blending mid‑century style with modern SoCal energy. With 671 renovated guestrooms and suites, multiple dining outlets—including ARLO, Lapper, Lap It Up, and The MRKT—plus 295,050 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space and a sprawling pool complex featuring three pools, a waterslide, cabanas, and fire pits, we’re built for both everyday escapes and large‑scale gatherings. Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, full-service environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and set a positive tone.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, energetic environment where no two shifts are the same.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and team training.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and make smart decisions in real time.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A hospitality mindset with a sense of humor, a sense of urgency, and a love for delivering memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service from open to close.
  • Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
  • Manage floor coverage, service flow, and staffing adjustments during busy meal periods, events, and game days.
  • Train new and existing team members on service standards, menu knowledge, policies, and guest interaction.
  • Monitor food quality, beverage presentation, cleanliness, and overall restaurant standards.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues quickly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, labor management, and team performance follow-up.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and leadership teams to maintain strong communication and coordination.
  • Support ordering, inventory control, and cost awareness to help maintain operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
  • Lead by example and help create a fun, energized atmosphere for both guests and team members.
