As the Full-Time General Manager for our Shellfish Division at Greenhead Lobster, you'll take the helm of a developing farm program in beautiful Hancock & Stonington, Maine. Requirements
- Experience in aquaculture (required)
- Strong on-the-water experience (required)
- Seafood HACCP experience (required)
- Leadership and team management experience (required)
- Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions and perform physical tasks
Nice To Haves
- Processing and manufacturing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage our oyster seed upweller and nursery systems.
- Coordinate daily farm operations including seed handling, cage flipping, and tumbling.
- Oversee harvest activities and ensure a seamless order fulfillment process.
- Uphold safety and cleanliness at two farm sites in Stonington and a shellfish facility in Hancock.
- Maintain meticulous records and track production performance with a focus on regulatory compliance.
- Supervise staff, foster a safe and enjoyable work environment, and train team members in best practices.
