About The Position

This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment.

Requirements

Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 plus years’ experience of industrial refrigeration required.
Supervisory or management experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
CIRO certification preferred.
Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)
No written warning in the past six (6) months
No suspension on record for the last 12 months

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
Coordinate Team Member schedules and handle clocking reports and attendance records.
Hold monthly safety meetings and perform other responsibilities as assigned across all three shifts of refrigeration maintenance.
Administer the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
Maintain relevant records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
Instruct personnel in the use of personal protective equipment.
Implement new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.
Work with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve new or different technical problems regarding equipment.
