General Manager Refrigeration - 1st Shift - Green Forest, AR
About The Position
This position will be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. This includes directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance and refrigeration personnel, administering the PSM program, and working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, maintaining relevant records, ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented, instructing in the use of personal protective equipment, and improving ergonomics within the facility. Additionally, the position is responsible for coordinating team member schedules, handling clocking reports and attendance records, and holding monthly safety meetings. Responsibilities extend to all 3 shifts of refrigeration maintenance.
Requirements
- Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 plus years Refrigeration/Maintenance experience
- Basic computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory/leadership experience in these areas preferred
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
