About The Position

The General Manager serves as the local business owner for Cimarron’s Eagle Ford operations, with full accountability for service execution, safety outcomes, and customer satisfaction. This role aligns with Cimarron’s Services & Solutions department by delivering disciplined execution, strong customer engagement, and profitable growth while reinforcing a safety-first culture. The GM owns day-to-day business decisions and represents Cimarron as the visible local leader to customers and field personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in general management, operations leadership, or business ownership roles within energy, industrial services, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or managing P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of service center and field operations, safety leadership, and KPI-driven execution.
  • Proven ability to partner with Account Managers and commercial teams.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

  • Experience operating as the senior leader in a geographically focused business.
  • Familiarity with upstream oil & gas operations and customer dynamics in the Eagle Ford Basin.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to local operations including field and service center operations.
  • Maintain strict oversight of safety, quality, and operational KPI’s, reinforcing Cimarron’s safety-first culture.
  • Ensure alignment between customer commitments, field execution, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Drive operational discipline, consistency, and accountability across the Eagle Ford area.
  • Own commercial outcomes for the Eagle Ford area, partnering closely with Account Managers to drive revenue growth and customer retention without displacing account ownership.
  • Serve as the visible Cimarron leader to key local customers, supporting executive engagement, issue resolution, and long-term relationship strength.
  • Maintain full accountability for Eagle Ford-area P&L performance, including forecasting, cost discipline, safety stock, utilization, and service margin.
  • Partner with Finance to track performance against plan and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the local leader for Cimarron employees in the Eagle Ford area, including accountability for safety performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Reinforce safety expectations, field standards, and incident prevention.
  • Review safety metrics regularly and lead corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support performance management, development, and retention of local talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
