The General Manager of Restaurant Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both restaurants to ensure seamless resident and guest experience. This role involves managing service standards, supervising staff, driving revenue through effective sales strategies, and maintaining operational efficiency. The General Manager ensures the highest level of resident satisfaction through quality service, staff training, and effective communication with the kitchen and other departments. The role includes responsibility for scheduling, inventory control, cost management, and compliance with all health and safety regulations, while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment that reflects the company’s values and service culture.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 4+ years’ experience in a food and beverage manager role.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years’ experience in the food and beverage or culinary manager role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in basic budgeting, scheduling, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of all front-of-house food and beverage outlets.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor dining areas for cleanliness, organization, and readiness before and during service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Support inventory and cost control efforts related to food, beverage, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage on service improvements and staff development.
