Advance Auto Parts is a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider serving both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers. As of October 5, 2024, Advance operated 4,781 stores primarily within the United States, with additional locations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company also served 1,125 independently owned Carquest branded stores across these locations in addition to Mexico and various Caribbean islands. This role is responsible for achieving overall store sales goals and service objectives, managing and growing Professional Customer relationships and sales, and ensuring the execution of all inventory and operational standards. The General Manager will also be responsible for the selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and engagement of store Team Members, as well as coaching all Team Members to deliver on Customer expectations. Manager on duty responsibilities include touching base/coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment and completion, safety, and open/close duties. The position also involves providing DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installation.
