The General Manager III is responsible for achieving overall store sales goals and service objectives. This role involves managing and growing professional customer relationships and sales, ensuring the team executes customer action plans, and overseeing selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and engagement of store team members. The position also requires ensuring the execution of all inventory and operational standards, coaching team members to deliver on customer expectations (DIY and Professional), and performing manager on duty responsibilities. These include touching base/coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment and completion, safety, and open/close duties. The role also involves providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation, and assisting the District/Region in other functions upon request. Success factors include friendly communication, ability to locate and stock parts, safety knowledge, ASE P2 certification or equivalent, advanced parts lookup and sourcing, execution and training of all store operational processes, testing and diagnostic equipment, inventory systems, store equipment, POS and parts lookup systems, and the ability to review and analyze P&L statements. The role also requires the ability to recruit, select, hire, and develop quality team members, and build and grow relationships with professional customers.
