GM, Home Services Manager Airtron is seeking a GM, Home Services Manager to lead the growth, profitability, operational performance, and customer experience of our Home Services business segment. This role is ideal for a hands-on, metrics-driven leader who understands residential HVAC or field service operations and can build strong teams, deliver results, and create a five-star homeowner experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Home Services, Residential HVAC, field service, construction, or a related service industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L statements, budgets, balance sheets, gross margin, and operational metrics.
  • Experience with field service management software such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, or similar systems.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by vehicle to work locations.
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including 5+ years in Residential HVAC Home Services.
  • Experience progressing through technical, field, operations, or service leadership roles.
  • Advanced ability to use operational data to identify opportunities and execute performance improvement plans.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operational performance, including P&L results, labor costs, gross margin, productivity, callbacks, and EBITDA targets.
  • Lead, coach, hire, onboard, and retain technicians, installers, service leaders, and office support team members.
  • Drive safety, quality, appearance standards, customer service expectations, and accountability across field operations.
  • Monitor KPIs such as technician productivity, install productivity, average ticket size, replacement opportunities, NPS, callback rates, and cost-per-lead.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to improve lead flow, in-home presentation, close rates, consumer financing utilization, and customer conversion.
  • Resolve high-level customer escalations and protect Airtron’s reputation through prompt, professional service recovery.
  • Plan for seasonal demand, optimize capacity, and ensure field assets, vehicles, inventory, and tools are managed effectively.
