About The Position

As General Manager, you will be responsible for both the fitness and sales functions of the studio. This includes leading the coaching team, managing sales performance, overseeing studio operations, driving membership growth, and fostering a positive culture for both members and staff. You will report directly to the Regional Business Manager. Requirements

  • Current nationally recognized fitness certification from an OTF-approved provider (e.g., ACSM, ACE PT/GFI, NASM, NSCA, AFAA PT/GFI)
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • OTF Coach certification or ability to obtain
  • 2-3 years of coaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations and lead a team
  • Strong sales acumen and comfort managing revenue performance
  • Flexible schedule availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a studio management or head coach role
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Business, or related field
  • Familiarity with MindBody Online or similar scheduling/CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal coaching minimum of 15 classes per week, with the possibility of flexing up based on needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, high-energy OTF classes in alignment with brand standards, ensuring safety, proper form, and member engagement.
  • Provide a personalized intro experience for all first-time members and deliver a membership prescription based on their goals and lifestyle.
  • Own studio revenue performance, including new memberships, renewals, and retail sales.
  • Execute lead generation strategies, community outreach, and in-studio marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the full sales process from inquiry to signed membership and provide weekly KPI reporting.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the coaching team, including scheduling, check-ins, performance conversations, and onboarding.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales associates, holding them accountable to performance targets and managing front-of-house culture.
  • Build a strong studio community through regular member touchpoints, recognition, and events.
  • Actively recruit coaches and sales associates from the member base and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards across all studio areas.
  • Report and follow up on all repair and maintenance needs through the company's ticketing system.
  • Execute and document monthly preventative maintenance for the studio.
  • Own all aspects of studio operations, including scheduling, class reconciliation, budget management, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Manage coach payroll and timecard accuracy, and conduct sales associate payroll review.
