General Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Operations

MooveLas Vegas, NV
Onsite

About The Position

Moove AV is seeking a General Manager to lead its Las Vegas operations. This role is crucial for scaling autonomous vehicle (AV) technology globally by partnering with OEMs and tech providers to ensure high-performance autonomous fleets are deployed with precision. The General Manager will bridge the gap between software and physical fleet deployment, ensuring vehicles are safe, available, and operating efficiently. This is not a traditional fleet management role; it involves leading Ride Hailing Operations (RHO), Fleet Development & Readiness (FDR), and the Incident Response Team (IRT), with ultimate responsibility for safety and operational profitability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in high-complexity operations (EV fleets, logistics, or advanced supply chain).
  • Deep familiarity with Kaizen or Six Sigma.
  • Instinctive preference for using AI and technology to scale operations rather than simply hiring more people.
  • Proven track record of building "A-player" teams and managing third-party commercial relationships with grit and diplomacy.
  • Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own the P&L: Drive aggressive cost efficiencies and identify opportunities for operational "alpha."
  • Implement and evolve core SOPs using Kaizen frameworks to ensure every movement is optimized.
  • Oversee the vehicle fleet and physical depot infrastructure.
  • Act as the ultimate steward of safety culture, ensuring 100% regulatory compliance and vehicle health.
  • Serve as the primary operational lead for AV Partners, managing high-level escalations and strategic alignment.
  • Manage outsourcing partners and third-party suppliers with a focus on high-yield performance and commercial discipline.
  • Leverage automation and AI tools to solve operational bottlenecks, favoring AI-driven solutions over headcount.
  • Design and manage business performance metrics (KPIs) for company-wide visibility.
  • Design, recruit, and lead a high-calibre team that thrives in a decentralized, fast-paced environment.
