About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 6 - Food and Nutrition Services to lead daily operations for our food team at HMH JFK University Medical Center located in Edison, New Jersey. JFK University Medical Center is a 499 bed non-profit, acute care hospital. It is a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health system and operates as a teaching hospital for complex neurological and rehabilitation care.

Requirements

• Strong Operations, Finance, Patient, Retail, and Client Relations are essential for this role.
• A true commitment to Nursing Relationships and the Patient Experience is needed.
• A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.
• General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Nice To Haves

• New Unit Opening Experience, ideal.
• Staff development, engagement, and understanding of regulatory compliance in NJ a plus.
