About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5 for Springfield City Schools in Springfield, MA, supporting a large‑scale K‑12 operation serving 23,000+ students across roughly 65 schools. This role provides strategic leadership for district‑wide food service operations, including high‑participation breakfast, lunch, dinner, and summer programs, as well as a unique culinary nutrition center producing scratch‑made meals. The General Manager 5 oversees all operational, financial, and compliance functions, partners closely with the Finance Director, leads USDA and internal audits, and builds strong, trusted client relationships. Success requires a confident, collaborative leader with K‑12 experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to inspire and support a large management team. Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Management Experience - 4 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years’ experience in management of school nutrition programs
