Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager 4 at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital located in Washington DC.We are the region's largest acute rehabilitation hospital, with 132 inpatient beds. MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for treating some of the nation’s most complex cases, due to our research partnership with Georgetown University School of Medicine, our highly specialized physicians, and our continued use of the latest technology; we are prepared to treat any injury. What You'll Do The selected candidate will focus on all food service operations, labor productivity, meeting targets, scheduling, reporting, and driving employee & patient satisfaction are key client indicators.
Requirements
- has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
- has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
- can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years
