About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic General Manager 2 to lead food service operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of Charlotte, NC. This is a highly visible, on-site leadership role within a professional, weekday-only environment, ideal for an experienced food service leader who enjoys ownership, client partnership, and team development. The Charlotte Federal Reserve location features a streamlined, high-quality food program designed to serve employees and special events, including one Café with 3 stations, Breakfast and Lunch service only (Monday–Friday), and Catering operations, including daily business catering and special events.

Requirements

Experience as a General Manager or senior food service leader in corporate dining, hospitality, or catering
Strong skills in financial management, client relations, and people leadership
Ability to operate independently while collaborating with regional leadership
Professional presence and confidence in a high-profile, corporate environment
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day café and catering operations with a focus on quality, service, and efficiency
Manage the budget, forecasting, and financial performance of the account
Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety, and client expectations
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Federal Reserve Bank of Charlotte
Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service, programs, and overall satisfaction
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 1 salaried managers and 4 hourly employees
Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
Support talent development, performance management, and succession planning
