About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Operations Manager to lead dining room operations at Luther Manor in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Luther Manor is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community situated in a beautiful, park-like setting with gardens and open green spaces, yet close to the city’s culture and conveniences. We’re looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong front-of-house leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and training staff. Typical shift is 9:30am - 6:30pm, may vary with some weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care.

Requirements

a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and customer service skills, as well as previous restaurant management or senior dining experience
the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
the ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

oversee day-to-day front of house operations for an on-site restaurant and two dining rooms
manage meal tickets and ensures timeliness of delivery
manage a front-of-house team of approximately 25 staff members
scheduling of staff and payroll
deliver high quality food services for resident satisfaction
develop and maintain client and customer relationships
ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and guests
ensure Sodexo standards are met
